For the needs of our Technical Service Department, we are looking for a motivated, responsible, disciplined and qualified professional to join our team as a General Maintenance Technician for a stationary site.
The position is based on-site with 8-hour working hours, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
The employee in this position will:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to established plans and/or service requests;
- Identify and resolve minor electrical, plumbing and other maintenance issues, including: replacement of light bulbs and electrical switches, repairs of doors, windows and frames, replacement of locks, toilet cisterns and faucets;
- Inspect furniture for stability and possible damage and perform necessary repairs;
- Maintain and clean drainage grates and related systems;
- Carry out minor repair works such as plastering, painting, drywall repairs and similar activities;
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors when necessary;
- Comply with technical safety regulations, occupational health and safety requirements, and fire safety procedures;
- Perform other related maintenance activities when required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- Completed secondary technical education;
- Analytical skills for diagnosing faults in installations and equipment;
- Ability to work with electrical, drilling, cutting and other maintenance tools and equipment;
- Precision and attention to detail in performing tasks and meeting deadlines;
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in general technical maintenance of buildings and facilities (plumbing, carpentry, locksmith work, dismantling and installation activities);
- Initiative, responsibility and ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
- Valid driver’s license - advantage
- Technical education in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering - advantage
- Valid certificate for electrical safety (equipment up to 1000V) - advantage
